All accounts

More Gmail accounts. One calm inbox.

Work, side business, private, the family one… SD Client shows all of them in one list, each in its own colour, so you never have to switch accounts again.

  • All your Gmail accounts in one inbox
  • One click shows just one account
  • Conversations show how many mails belong to them
  • Unread counts per account and in the browser tab

💡 Did you know? Search looks through every account at once.

Reading

Long threads you can actually follow.

We hide the signatures and the quoted history repeated in every reply. You already know who you are talking to and what was said before; they only steal your attention. What is left is the new part, numbered and in order.

  • Signatures and quoted history hidden in every reply
  • Numbered replies, one below the other, in order
  • The full original mail is one click away
  • Reader below or beside the list, any size

💡 Did you know? Only real attachments count: logos and embedded images are left out.

Projects

Every client gets a folder. By itself.

When you start, SD Client looks at who you really correspond with and creates a project for each company, then gathers all of its mail there, from every account.

  • A project is created for a company you wrote to at least twice, or whose people wrote to you at least three times
  • Free addresses (Gmail, Outlook…) never become a project
  • New project from any mail in one click
  • Merge or rename projects with a right-click, delete them in Settings
  • NEW badge on projects with fresh mail

Rules

No more setting up rules.

In Gmail you write filters by hand. Here every project and every folder brings its own rule, so new mail lands in the right place without you doing anything.

  • Each project gets a rule by the company's domain
  • A new automated sender gets its own folder the moment its first mail arrives
  • Mail you moved by hand stays where you put it
  • Every rule is visible and editable in Settings

💡 Did you know? Rules sort your old mail too, not only what arrives from now on.

Organised folders

A year of mail, sorted by sender.

SD Client goes through the past year of your mail and puts every company that writes to you automatically (invoices, notifications, newsletters) into its own folder. You see at once who sends you what, and deal with them folder by folder instead of mail by mail.

  • Mark a whole folder as read
  • Unsubscribe from all of a sender's lists in one click
  • Bin everything in a folder at once
  • Hide a folder you don't want to see, its mail is still kept

Tasks

Mail you must act on doesn't sink anymore.

Flag a mail Urgent, Important or Watch and it waits for you in one view. Or turn it into a Google Task with a due date in one move.

  • Three priority levels, one Priority view
  • Mail to Google Tasks with a due date
  • Each task links back to its mail

💡 Did you know? Your tasks show up in Google Calendar and the Tasks app on your phone.

Full list view

Done with a mail? See the whole list.

A small reading pane shows only a few rows of your list. Finish a mail, and the list opens to the full screen so you see everything that waits, until you click the next one.

  • One button on the divider, or Esc
  • Opens by itself after archiving or deleting
  • Click a mail and the reader is back at its usual size

Make it yours

Colours, order, pins. Your way.

Everything in the sidebar and the account strip can be arranged the way you think, with a right-click.

  • Recolour folders and projects
  • Recolour and rename accounts
  • Pin accounts to the strip above the list
  • Move folders up and down, hide the ones you don't need
  • Six looks, from light to dark

Your Gmail too

Your Gmail gets in order again, too.

If you like, your projects and folders appear in Gmail as labels, so your mail is just as structured on gmail.com and in the Gmail app on your phone.

  • One switch turns it on
  • Only new labels are created, yours stay as they are
  • Works on your phone's Gmail app too
